Getting started with Locodo: your first task in 30 seconds
Locodo is built to get out of your way. There's no sign-up, no setup wizard, and no cloud to configure — download it, open it, and you're ready. Here's everything you need for your first few minutes.
1. Add your first task
Tap the blue + button and just start typing. Locodo understands plain English, so you can write the whole thing in one line:
- “Call mom tomorrow at 6pm”
- “Pay rent on the 1st”
- “Team standup every weekday at 9am”
As you type, Locodo highlights the date, time and repeat it detected and fills them in for you — no fiddling with pickers. Prefer to speak? Tap the microphone and dictate; it happens on your device.
2. Complete, edit and delete
On the task list, swipe right to mark a task done and swipe left to delete it. Tap any task to open it and add notes, a due date, a reminder, a priority, sub-tasks or tags. Made a mistake? Deleted tasks go to Recently Deleted (Settings), so you can restore them for up to 7 days.
💡 Tip: You don't have to fill in everything. A title alone is a perfectly good task — add details only when they help.
3. Find your way around
The tabs at the bottom are your home base:
- Tasks — your list, with smart views (Today, Upcoming, Overdue…) and a priority filter.
- Lists — group tasks into colorful lists like Work, Home or Shopping.
- Notes — a separate space for quick notes (more in guide 4).
- Insights — streaks, trends and how much you're getting done.
- Settings — themes, app lock, backups and Recently Deleted.
4. Plan your day
Tap the calendar icon on the Tasks screen to open the Agenda — every dated task laid out day by day, alongside your calendar events. It's the fastest way to see what's actually coming up.
